Implementation of an employee awareness survey

We have conducted employee opinion surveys since FY2020 (from December to January of the following year). All workers respond to the surveys, including seconded employees and temporary staff, using a website and ensuring anonymity. In addition, the President & CEO has 30 minute one-on-one meetings with all of the employees twice a year to listen to them face to face. Through these initiatives, SRM incorporates the opinions and proposals of employees into its management to realize a workplace where employees can work with job satisfaction.

Top three items by category (FY2024)

  • The survey consists of two parts: 50 multiple-choice questions broken down into five sections and nine categories and then three open-ended questions. In the FY2024 survey, we received valid responses from all 69 survey subjects.
  • Survey results are shared at regular executive-level meetings. Specifically, participants exchange opinions about themes related to the growth and job satisfaction of employees to get a deeper understanding of them. As the fruitful results of open-ended question surveys, some employee opinions and proposals have been implemented as a part of personnel systems (e.g., the point-addition incentive system).

Employee satisfaction

The percentage of employees that answered yes when asked if they are satisfied with working for SRM has risen since the survey began. In FY2024, the score on this question was 3.80 of 5 points.
