Basic Policy on Anti-social Forces
Based on the “Guidelines for Corporations to Prevent Damage from Anti-social Forces” (Ministerial Meeting Concerning Measures Against Crime, June 19, 2007) and the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Financial Instrument Business Operators, etc.” (Securities Business Division, Supervisory Bureau, Financial Services Agency), we declare the following basic policies regarding anti-social forces to eliminate all relationships with such forces.
Responding as an Entire Organization
We will respond as an entire organization to improper claims made by anti-social forces. In addition, we will ensure the safety of our officers and employees when responding to improper claims made by anti-social forces.
Cooperating with Specialized Agencies
We will cooperate with specialized agencies, such as law enforcement agencies and attorneys at law in our preparation of responses to improper claims made by anti-social forces.
Severing All Relations, Including Business Relationships
We will not conduct any business with anti-social forces, and we will not be involved in any plans suspected of being related to anti-social forces. We will reject improper claims made by anti-social forces. In the event of any suspicious activity, we will immediately take appropriate measures, such as canceling contracts.
Responding to Emergencies in Accordance with Civil and Criminal Laws
We will actively respond to improper claims made by anti-social forces in accordance with the appropriate civil and criminal laws.
No Financial Backing or Funding
We will not provide any financial backing or funding for anti-social forces. We will not provide any inappropriate and exceptional convenience or monetary settlements.
